Final Project Proposal
The purpose of this project would be to inform the viewer about the solar system and to encourage exploration of space to find other life forms and a potential place for human settlements. Space exploration is essential for human survival, assuming that global warming procedes unchecked and that human population will be too great for the Earth to sustain.
The homescreen will look like a black board with minimalistic representations of the planets.
When the mouse hovers over a planet, the name of the planet will appear underneath.
When a planet is selected, a larger, more detailed drawing appears underneath. Facts about the planet appear telling the user about the planet and if it's a suitable place for humans to inhabit. The information in the images below is not complete, as I'm still trying to figure out what facts would be helpful to have, how to phrase them, and where I can find this information.
